Ukrainian Summer Kid's Camp

Summer camp for kids kindergarten through 8th grade will take place at the ukrainian welcome center in nampa, idaho, on tuesday, wednesday, and thursday, from 10:00-2:00, on june 18-20, june 25-27, july 10-11, and july 16-18, 2024. 

Lunch and a snack are provided. busing is available. 

outdoor school/family camp in cascade, Idaho, will be on july 6-9, 2024. 

"EXPLORE IDAHO" LESSONS will include: 

-Hands-on learning to promote curiosity--FLIGHT, MIGRATION, FOREST ECOSYSTEMS, ROBOTICS

- English practice THROUGH INSTRUCTIONAL AND SOCIAL CONVERSATIONS

- Camping trip in the mountains, July 6-9, HIKING, PHOTOGRAPHY, NATURE APPRECIATION

- Field Trips TO EXPERIENCE WHAT IS LEARNED DURING LESSONS

Prepare for an exciting summer of learning at the Ukrainian Welcome Center! We’re excited to share our plans for fun and educational programs that will keep kids engaged and entertained while exploring the wonderful world around them. From learning about the environment to discovering the thrills of robotics, there is something for everyone! With hands on learning with our experienced instructors, the program will offer enjoyable activities throughout the summer as well as help build roots into the community. Join us for a summer of fun and learning at the Ukrainian Welcome Center!

• This camp is directed towards children from kindergarten to 8th grade ( 5 years to 14 years old. 

• We will have lunches and transportation available. 

• The lessons will be conducted in a bilingual setting, making sure they understand the lessons as well as become more acquainted and accustomed with the English language.
